rebirth_white Most highly anticipated things these days often find them selves somehow leaking to the public before the offical release date. Lil Wayne's long awaited "Rebirth" album is no exception to this trend of consumer gluttony. Full review inside.

We've all watch Weezy F. inch his way into Rock n' Roll territory for the last year or so now. There are plenty of successful features Wayne has been on. Songs like Kevin Rudolf's "Let It Rock", Weezer's "Can't Stop Partying" and Fall Out Boy's "America's Sweethearts Remix" just to name a few. Naturally the Birdman Jr's infatuation with rockstar life would inevitable bleed over into his perfectly stiched Hip-Hop sash of merits. We first got a taste of Lil Wayne's brand of Rock n' Roll with the single "Prom Queen". I'd be lieing if I said this record was warmly receieved by traditional Weezy fans. Seeming the Hip-Hop community was turned off by Lil Wayne's full fledged Rock n' Roll sound. Using the auto-tuner effect to mask Weezy's shortcomings as a vocal-singing artisit  didn't help sell the idea of "Lil Wayne the rockstar". With plenty of release date push backs, it seemed as if it would be a while before we saw Lil Wayne reborn a legitimate rocker. Not to far from the end of the year, Young Tomb's collection of self conviced rock gradeur is out of the womb. Unlike most new borns that are welcomed with love. The spawn of syrup, weed and misdirection will more than likely be given up for adoption. wayne_trigger_white

Elaine Goldstein, chairwoman of the accessories design department at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Consumers want their purchases to make them feel good about themselves, whether the rationale behind the buy is "They're so uggs outlet comfortable I'll wear them everywhere" or "They're so well-made I'll keep them for years." We're not embracing ugly shoes exclusively, but even the super-rich are dialing back the flash factor. Conspicuous consumption is the new toxic bachelor.
